Let’s be honest, sometimes January and February can get a little boring. Cold weather, dreary days, blahhh blah blah….I think that’s why I get so jazzed about Valentine’s Day. I love the idea of celebrating love and most of all love the idea of an excuse to get dressed up for a date! I’m sharing a few ideas for Valentine’s Day Date outfits and this is the first…a chunky knit, bright red, crop sweater with a high waisted pleated leather skirt and pops of leopard print. Bold color, lots of play on texture, but nothing too fussy…my ideal date night outfit!

Really liked the quality of this sweater for the price. It’s a crop, so I’m wearing it here with a more high-waisted skirt. Such a great, inexpensive piece to hold you over to Spring.
You guys, I’ve worn this skirt on the blog so many times. I hope that you can appreciate it when I really like a piece and wear it on here multiple times. This is by far the best piece I’ve bought this season and definitely plan to wear it through Spring.
